Loop

Count Controlled

  • Repeats a process a specified number of times
  • Looping mechanism simply counts each time the process is repeated
  • Tests whether it has finished before beginning again
  • Three distinct parts
    • Initialization
    • Testing
    • Incrementation

Event Controlled

  • Repetitions controlled by an event occurring within the body of the loop
  • Used when you don't know how many iterations the process will take
